Operation Process Of Spray Dryer

Prepare

The materials to be spray need to be thoroughly emulsified and homogenized by the homogenizer, passed through the 80 mesh screen (to avoid blocking the atomizer and pipeline), and placed in the stainless steel barrel for standby. Another bucket of tap water is connected to clean the atomizer and spray chamber. Install the feed pipe of the peristaltic pump, clamp it firmly, secure the front of the feed inlet with 8 nuts (to prevent floating and sucking air), and put it into the bucket for standby [6].

Inspect

Check whether the butterfly valves on the pipes connecting the dehumidifier and the aggregate drum are open, the air valve on the spray tower should be fully open, the door of the spray cabin should be closed, the quick mounting clamps of each connecting pipe should be installed correctly, the air outlet valve of the air compressor should be opened, the vent valve should be closed, and the air compressor pipe should be well connected.

Startup procedure

Press the switch of the dehumidifier, close the air relay switch of the spray dryer, adjust the air outlet pressure of the air compressor to 0.25MPa (pull out the black button and press it after adjustment), rotate the red emergency stop button clockwise, open the LCD operation screen, wait for 15s to automatically enter the operation interface, and set the process parameters: the set temperature is 180 ℃, the lower limit temperature is 180 ℃, the upper limit temperature is 192 ℃, the temperature is between the set and lower limits, and the heating opening time is 10s, The heating closing time is 3S, the vibrator is set to vibrate for 2S and stops for 2-10s (refer to the accumulation of materials on the wall). If water spray or other substances with low solid content, the set temperature should be adjusted to 185-190 ℃, and the lower limit should be changed to 185 ℃.

Turn on the induced draft fan, dehumidifier and electric heating switch (turn on the automatic button for electric heating, otherwise the temperature will not jump when it reaches the set temperature, and the heating will continue). Preheat the system. The lighting lamp can be normally on. When the monitored inlet air temperature reaches the set temperature, the outlet air temperature reaches 80-90 degrees and the temperature is relatively stable, turn on the atomizer for 30s, and then turn on the peristaltic pump switch in the interface, Adjust the rotating speed to 12-18 (according to the material), start the peristaltic pump slowly in the early stage, and do not introduce air into the material pipe (the temperature of the atomizer is high, and the lack of new material cooling will quickly dry a small amount of material liquid and block the atomizer). The direction arrow on the atomizer points to "→", and press the start key on the atomizer to start peristaltic feeding. When the material enters the atomizer to start spray, open the vibrator (double air hammer) and observe the atomization and air outlet temperature. If the air outlet temperature is higher than 90 ℃, slowly adjust the rotating speed of the peristaltic pump (0.5-2 each time), continue to observe the air outlet temperature to see if it is stable. If the air outlet temperature drops to 86-88 ℃, it is the normal spray flow rate (depending on the material viscosity, solid content and other factors), and always observe the air outlet temperature, Adjust the best material flow rate (the empirical value is 17-18 for water spraying, 32 for pepper water, and about 28 for chicken paste dissolved in 1:2 water).

Shutdown Sequence

After all the materials are sucked up, put the feed pipe head into the cleaning bucket immediately, clean the atomizer with water spray, adjust the rotating speed of the peristaltic pump to about 15 (the water has no solids, so it is difficult to spray dry), observe whether the feeding pipeline is cleaned by tap water after 5min, and then operate for 2-3 minutes until the atomizer is cleaned. Turn off the peristaltic pump and open the clamp on the pump to make the water flow back into the bucket. Wait for 3-5 minutes. After the atomizer finishes spraying the residual water, turn off the atomizer. When there is no fog, turn off the electric heating and vibrator, and wait for natural cooling. When the air inlet temperature reaches below 150 ℃, the cabin door can be opened, and the air pressure gun head can be used to blow down at the place where there is material accumulation inside. Pay attention to all dead corners, and aim at the elbow of the bottom pipe to blow air so that the material can be recovered through the cyclone separator. After blowing the powder, close the cabin door to blow the material for 1 minute, and then close the induced draft fan and dehumidifier. Close the butterfly valve at the discharge port, remove the collector, pour out the powder and bag it to prevent moisture.

Cleaning spray tower

Loosen the quick loading clamp on the right side of the collector, and then remove the clamp at the bottom of the spray tower, so that this section of material pipe can be rotated to one side, and a large basin is placed at the bottom of the spray tower to receive water. Turn on the atomizer and peristaltic pump, put the feeding hose into the cleaning barrel to absorb water, press the start key to start peristaltic water absorption, quickly adjust the rotating speed to 100 after starting spray, and spray a maximum amount of water to clean the atomizer and internal bulkhead for 3-5min. According to the operation process, first turn off the peristaltic pump to drain the water in the feed pipe, then turn off the atomizer after 2 minutes, then press the emergency stop button to turn off the machine and turn off the air relay switch in the control cabinet. Open the cabin door, connect a water pipe to flush the unclean parts of the internal bulkhead, be careful not to flush water into the hole next to the top atomizer (to prevent water from pouring back into the heater), and thoroughly flush the inner wall.

Clean surrounding accessories

Remove the 2 cut-off pipe connected to the cyclone separator, the butterfly valve at the discharge port, the collector, the clamp and the silica gel gasket, and control the dry water after all cleaning. When cleaning the cyclone separator, first remove the surrounding connecting accessories, and then be sure to close the outlet butterfly valve of the dehumidifier (to prevent water from pouring back into the dehumidifier), flush with a water pipe at the inlet of the separator, catch the water at the outlet with a water basin to prevent it from splashing into the dehumidifier and burning the motor. Repeat washing at multiple angles for several times until the effluent is colorless and clear. After all accessories are completely dried, install the pipe.
